Who is it for?

This course is for those requiring a grounding in first aid techniques, who are professional drivers such as lorry, taxi and bus drivers.

Course Content:

Describe the principles and identify the requirement for the provision of first aid
Manage an incident and prioritise first aid
Administer first aid to an unconscious casualty
Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking
Identify and manage a casualty in shock
Control bleeding
Identify and manage a suspect cardiac casualty
Identify and manage common injuries and illnesses.
